Mortise Locks

A mortise lock is a locking mechanism that is installed by cutting a pocket, or mortise, into the edge of a door. Unlike surface-mounted locks, mortise locks are installed inside the door itself.

Mortise Locks provide exceptional strength and durability to any door. Typical applications include Offices, Hospitals, Schools, Multi Family Buildings, Industrial sites and Public Buildings, their robust construction, enhanced security features, and superior functionality make them well suited to heavy use environments.

The lever trim means ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards for accessibility. Several functions are available, some with integrated deadbolt. Mortise locks offer functions that can not be obtained using cylindrical key in knob locks.

The ability to handle heavy wear and tear contribute to a longer lifespan, making them a long-term investment.
